dma_enable -- enable recognition of hardware requests on a DMA channel

void dma_enable(int chan);

Description

dma_enable enables recognition of hardware requests on the ISA, EISA, or MCA DMA channel chan.

Arguments


chan
Channel to be enabled.

Return values

None.

Usage

The channel should have been programmed previously by dma_prog(D3).

PC-AT compatible platforms with ISA, EISA, or MCA

Version applicability

ddi: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 5mp, 6, 6mp, 7, 7mp, 7.1, 7.1mp, 8, 8mp
