Configuring the Network File System (NFS)

Enabling NFS

NFS must be configured into your network interface (TCP/IP and a network adapter) before filesystems can be mounted or exported. Initial NFS configuration can be completed:

Your system must be able to contact remote servers and clients through one of the following: Filesystems must be exported before NFS is functional; see ``Adding, modifying and removing filesystem export configuration''.
