Adding mice and bitpads

Solving slow or no response from keyboard mice

If your keyboard mouse responds too slowly or not at all, use a text editor to edit the file /etc/conf/pack.d/kbmouse/space.c. Reduce the kbm_poll value to improve keyboard mouse response. For example, if the value 0xb0 produces very slow mouse response, try 0xa0, 0x90, 0x80, and so on in turn until the mouse performance is satisfactory. A recommended starting value is 0x400. Refer to ``Changing the keyboard mouse resolution setting'' for more information.

NOTE: Some kbm_poll values lower than 0xb0 may cause your system to freeze. If this occurs, increase the kbm_poll value.

After modifying parameters in space.c, you must relink the kernel and use the shutdown(ADM) command to reboot the system. When the system boots, the new keyboard mouse parameters take effect.
