Dragging and dropping icons

You can perform a variety of tasks by dragging an icon onto another icon, also known as dropping an icon onto another icon. You can start some programs by dropping a document (file icon) on that program's icon. You can:

• get information about an icon by dropping it on the Help icon. See ``SCO OpenServer documentation'' for more information on the Help icon.

• delete a file or directory by dropping its icon on the Trash icon. See ``Deleting and recovering files and directories'' for more information on deleting and for information on recovering deleted files.

• print a text file by dropping its icon on the Printer icon. See ``Printing files'' for more information on printing files.
