Using UNIX windows

Sending events to your UNIX window

To ensure that only the X server can send events to the UNIX window, disable ``Allow clients to send events'' from the Display submenu of the Options menu.

To allow applications other than the X server to send events to the UNIX window, select ``Allow clients to send events'' from the Display submenu of the Options menu.

NOTE: When the ``Allow clients to send events'' item is enabled, it is possible, for example, for other users to send keyboard events (commands) to your UNIX window. The UNIX window treats these events as commands coming from your keyboard. For a more secure environment, disable the ``Allow clients to send events'' item.
