raise --
send signal to program
Synopsis
#include <signal.h>
int raise (int sig);
Description
raise sends the signal sig to the executing program.
raise uses kill to send the signal to the executing program:
kill(getpid(), sig);

Return values
raise returns zero if the operation succeeds.
Otherwise, raise
returns -1 and errno is set to indicate the error.
