mdi_isdma -- determine if all processors can do device I/O

Synopsis (Not in SVR5 version)

   int mdi_isdma(u_char *vstart);

Description

The mdi_isdma( ) function tests whether the buffer whose start is pointed to by vstart is within the first 16 megabytes of memory.

Starting address of the buffer to be tested.

Differences between versions

This function is not supported in MDI on SVR5 systems.

Return values

mdi_isdma( ) returns 1 if the buffer is in DMAable memory (under 16 Mb), or 0 if not.
