Syntax
/etc/docview [start | stop |

Description
The docview command is the administrative utility for
the DocView documentation server. The DocView server is a
separate instance of an Apache server running from a specified
port number (8457). docview is an init script that
controls the httpd daemon associated with that Apache
server instance. It can be run from the command line, and it is
set to run by default from the DocView startup script,
/etc/rc2.d/S95docview.
NOTE:
Entering docview on the command line does not start
the DocView help system; see
``Getting help'' in Getting Help.
The docview command takes the following options:
start-
Starts the DocView server.
stop-
Stops the DocView server.
restart-
Stops and starts the DocView server by sending a SIGHUP
signal or starts it if it is not running.
status-
Dumps a short status screen; requires that lynx and
mod_status be enabled.

Restarts the DocView server by sending a SIGUSR1 signal
or starts the server if it is not running.
configtest-
Performs a configuration syntax test.
help-
