Copying user accounts to non-SCO OpenServer systems
You can migrate user accounts to other XENIX or UNIX systems by
copying the /etc/passwd (and /etc/shadow,
if applicable) to the target system.
If the target system does not use /etc/shadow,
run the pwunconv utility
to consolidate the information into /etc/passwd
before copying the file to the target system.
NOTE:
If you need to migrate accounts to another SCO OpenServer system,
use the
ap(ADM)
utility described in
``Copying user accounts''.
