Administering user accounts

About default selections

Many selections of the Account Manager have multiple choices: Yes and No (or a single numerical value), and Default. When you choose the Default option, you are not simply using a static value that is copied into the user's account. Instead, you are configuring the account to use a default value that can change dynamically. That is, you can change the system default value that immediately affects all accounts. With this in mind, you can configure user accounts to use either a specific static value, or a dynamic one associated with most users.
