Starting the system

Starting your SCO system requires more than just turning on the power. The system goes through a series of stages to ready the system for use, some of which may require intervention:


NOTE: The default system behavior is to restart and proceed with these stages without intervention when the computer is switched on (or power is restored). See ``Using the System Startup Manager'' for more information.
