Administering TSP
As part of the day-to-day operation of your network, you can use the
timedc(ADMN)
command to control the operation of the time daemons. For
example, you can:
-
measure the differences between host clocks.
-
find the location of the master time daemon.
-
cause election timers on several hosts to expire at the same time.
-
enable or disable tracing of messages received by timed.
Also, you can set the network date using the
rdate(ADMN)
command.
See the
timed(ADMN),
timedc(ADMN),
and
rdate(ADMN)
manual pages for more information.
