Using nslookup
Use the
nslookup(TC)
command to query name servers from the command line.
You can run nslookup:
-
interactively, to obtain one or more pieces of data from one or more servers,
or
-
noninteractively, to obtain one piece of data from one server.
Use interactive mode to enter an nslookup shell from which you can
change servers, set query options, and debug nslookup. Use the command
line (non-interactive) mode to issue simple queries.
