Configuring a Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP) server

Adding or modifying a user class option set

To define or change a user class using the DHCP Server Manager:

  1. Select View -> User Classes.

  2. Select Entry -> Add or highlight the user class you want to change and select Entry -> Modify.

  3. Enter an Identifier (a text string) and a description for the entry. (You cannot change an existing identifier.)

  4. Click on Generic to configure the options for this user class. See ``Configuring DHCP options'' for more information.

  5. Click on OK.
