Using the vi editor in mail

You can use the vi editor to compose your mail messages. To do this, type ~v (tilde-v) on a new line when you are composing your mail message. This brings you into vi. Any text you have already typed appears in vi, ready for editing. (For instructions on using vi, see ``Using the vi editor''.)
