Viewing a specific set of messages

You can choose to view a list of messages based on specific information in the message headers or text. You can pick messages based on:

To specify a set of messages to look at:

  1. Select Specified List from the View menu.

  2. If you have multiple folders open, select the folder containing the message list you want to restrict (next to ``Specify list in folder'').

  3. Select one or more fields on which you want to base the restrictions by clicking in the appropriate box and typing the text of the restriction. For example, to view messages on a particular subject, such as ``weeds,'' type weeds in the ``Subject'' field. To select messages about ``schedules'' from useranne, type schedules in the ``Subject'' field and type anne in the ``From'' field.


    NOTE: If you enter more than one restriction, only messages that satisfy all the listed restrictions are displayed.
