Multipart messages

A multipart message includes a heading component, which describes the message and may contain text, and one or more attachments. The heading is displayed in the message list as the first line of the multipart description. Double-click on the heading line in the message list to ``expand'' the message list description; this displays one line per attachment.

Alternatively, you can expand all multipart messages in the message list by selecting Expand from the Message menu. Reverse this by selecting Collapse from the Message menu.
