Boot-time loadable drivers

Adjusting System and variable values within link(HW)

When loading a driver at boot time, link(HW) and ahslink can replace initialized values compiled in space.o with values that have been specified using the patch directive in the Bootload file (see btld(F)). Similarly, the tune directive allows the customer to change the hardware parameters such as the IRQ and base I/O start and end addresses defined in the System file.

However, when custom or installpkg is used to configure a BTLD driver into the Link Kit, all values in Bootload are ignored.
