Creating help files for network driver configuration

Configuration parameters

To the extent that your driver prompts for configuration parameters (such as IRQ and I/O base address), you must list these parameters in the help files according to the examples in the template and sample files.

We provide further information about these standard parameters within the documentation set for the benefit of customers who are not familiar with a particular parameter:

A link to the list of Configuration parameters is included in the template file.

If your driver requires the configuration of a ``custom'' parameter not described in documentation, you must provide a description, including rationale for use and criteria for selecting configurable values; see the supplied parameter descriptions for examples.
