Creating help files for network driver configuration

Naming conventions

Network driver help files must be named according to this convention:

driver_name-bus_type.html

For example:

smpw-pci.html

This name must correspond to the .bcfg file for that driver and bus (for example, smpw-pci.bcfg); the help file must also be specified by name in this .bcfg file. If the name is incorrectly specified or not listed in the appropriate .bcfg file, online help will not be available for your driver.

NOTE: If you provide a DOS installation floppy, file names must conform to 8.3 naming conventions. A tool will be available in the future to facilitate name conversions for IHV (Independent Hardware Vendor) installation floppies.
