If the maximum PDU size returned in the
MAC_INFO_ACK(D7mdi)
(mac_max_sdu member) is larger than 1500,
it should be defined as a CUSTOM parameter
in the driver's
bcfg(DSP/4dsp).
This enables users to overcome limitations in the
protocol stacks without having to patch the driver.
