After the installation

Copying the installed kernel

After the SCO OpenServer installation is finished, it is a good idea to make a copy of the installed kernel. Do this after the system reboots for the first time, by running the following commands:

# cd /stand
# cp unix unix.good

This kernel can be used in the event that successive kernel relinks produce kernels that do not boot.
