Directories and files
In this chapter, you will learn how information on a
UNIX system is organized into directories and
files.
You will learn how to move from
directory
to directory and how to list the files in a directory.
Before you begin, you should know how to log in to your
SCO OpenServer system and how to type commands at the prompt.
The examples in this chapter assume that you are running the Korn
shell. If you are not sure which shell you are running see
``Identifying your shell''.
To start a temporary Korn shell type ksh and press <Enter>.
