Using the scroll bar

To display a scroll bar, select Scrollbar from the Display option under the Options menu.

You can use the scroll bar to scroll up through previously displayed text. If you want to be able to automatically go back down to the last line of text, select Jump to bottom when key pressed from the Display submenu of the Options menu. Press any key to automatically ``snap'' the window back to the last line of text.

While you are scrolling up through previously displayed text, if a program suddenly sends a message to your screen, you can specify that the display automatically jump down to display the message. If you have a scroll bar displayed, this option is already turned on. If you do not have a scroll bar displayed, select Jump to bottom when message received from the Display submenu of the Options menu.
