Working with SCO Panner

Overlapping work areas with the view area

You can specify the precision with which you can position the viewfinder using the resources *snapDistanceX and *snapDistanceY if *snapActiveScreen is also set to ``True''.

NOTE: If you click with mouse button 2 on a symbolic window and drag, you move the symbolic window, not the viewfinder (provided that the window is not nailed). This is the normal method by which you can move windows around your workspace. If the window has been nailed, its symbolic window behaves as though it is part of the viewfinder: moving the symbolic window moves the viewfinder. You can move the viewfinder independently if you unnail the window.
