 ----------------------
 
 These standard options are supported by `annotate' ( Common
 options, for a complete description of them):
 
 `-l'
      Local directory only, no recursion.
 
 `-R'
      Process directories recursively.
 
 `-f'
      Use head revision if tag/date not found.
 
 `-F'
      Annotate binary files.
 
 `-r TAG[:DATE]'
      Annotate file as of specified revision/tag or, when DATE is
      specified and TAG is a branch tag, the version from the branch TAG
      as it existed on DATE.  See  Common options.
 
 `-D DATE'
      Annotate file as of specified date.
